My newspaper columns have been circulating around the state of Virginia since 2000. Follow that up with teaching, speaking at some local events, designing and maintaining web sites, a few repair jobs here and there, and you have my computer experience. Me

I currently live in Harrisonburg, VA, USA and have worked for NTELOS since 1999. With NTELOS I was originally a Corporate Computer Instructor and as of March, 2007 I become a Wireless Business Analyst.

My wife and I were both born and raised in the Tidewater (now referred to as Hampton Roads) area of Virginia. In 1991, the family and I moved to the Valley of Virginia. We’ve found it to be a great change.

I graduated from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, with a BS in Secondary Education and Physics & Geophysical Sciences…many, many years ago. I have written training manuals for the Community College system. I am also a certified “Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor“, which means that I paid MS a lot of money to take a lot of tests for a title that has never done much for me.

I taught computers and software since the late 80s. Until recently I was an adjunct instructor at Blue Ridge Community College, Weyers Cave, VA, and Massanutten Technical Center, Harrisonburg, VA. Due to my recent job change with NTELOS I had to step down from the adjunct positions.

I cover most any computer, or technology, question that comes to mind or that my readers ask me…which happens quite often. I’ll be seeing you around the net!
